PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & SALES STRATEGY

Bill Schober

Bill brings more than 34 years of retail flooring sales experience to the design and development of Benchmark’s websites, apps and business systems. His Army background as a military intelligence linguist and legal specialist contributes to his emphasis on clear communication, careful documentation and attention to detail.

He designs around the complete sales lifecycle: customer acquisition, education, closing the sale, aftercare and earning a customer for life. Each system serves a practical purpose—helping customers find the business, understand their options, buy with confidence and receive consistent care after the sale.

FROM EXPERIENCE TO PRACTICAL SYSTEMS

Systems developed by Bill Schober.

Bill’s development work spans the estimating engine, business administration, customer-facing websites and sales tools. The portfolio below shows what each does and where it fits in the sales lifecycle. Local Boost pairs that practical approach with managed local visibility services.

  1. Customer acquisition
  2. Education
  3. Closing the sale
  4. Aftercare
  5. Customer for life

Estimating & business foundations

Benchmark CoreThe custom-developed calculation and rules engine

Translates practical estimating knowledge into consistent, repeatable calculations. Core applies configured rules for quantities, materials, labor, minimums, accessories and installation requirements. It keeps detailed estimating logic separate from the sales interface and provides the calculation foundation for Benchmark Quick Quote.

Benchmark Core EnterpriseBusiness administration and operations

The administrative foundation for managing companies, locations, user access, service selections, proposals, contracts, subscriptions and Benchmark’s customer billing and payment processing. This is distinct from Benchmark Core’s estimating calculations. Its current billing integration collects payments for Benchmark’s own services; customer-business payment collection is a separately scoped capability.

CUSTOMER ACQUISITION · A STANDALONE SERVICE

Benchmark Local Boost

Be found. Build trust. Make it easier for customers to choose you.

A strong website is only one part of getting found. Incorrect business details, inconsistent listings and weak map visibility can keep customers from reaching you in the first place. Local Boost manages that local presence—with approved corrections, monitoring and documented results.

Accurate business listings

Review your business identity, identify incorrect or duplicate records and submit agreed corrections so customers can find reliable information.

Visibility across your market

Visibility and Growth plans use geographic ranking grids, keyword tracking and competitor comparisons to show where your business is easier—or harder—to find.

Trust through authentic reviews

Growth adds branded review requests, authorized invitations and review monitoring to help you ask customers for honest feedback.

Evidence you can follow

Benchmark reports separate submitted corrections from independently verified repairs, with pending issues and next steps kept visible.

Keep your existing website. No website purchase is required. Choose Essential, Visibility or Growth for ongoing support, or request a separately quoted one-time repair. Website packages include a defined initial listing setup; an ongoing Local Boost subscription is a separate service.
